March is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month and this year Maria is doing the London ‘Walk in Her Name’ in memory of Sarah. This is a 6km walk through the heart of London, past landmarks associated with famous - and some not so famous - women. As the walkers follow in the footsteps of the women who have shaped London throughout the centuries, they will be taking action for the next generation of women. Maria will be joined on the walk by the Sevenoaks crew - Tim, Ellie, Arlo, Artis and Zephyr.Kate one of Sarah’s great friends is joining us on the walk.Updates
'Round the Garden Walk' - 4 May 2020 (1 of 3)
5th May 2020The ‘Walk in Her Name’ London 6km Walk in aid of Ovarian Cancer Action rescheduled for 30th May has been cancelled due to COVID 19 restrictions. However, in view of the generous sponsorship support that I'd received, I completed a 6km walk in our garden instead of round the streets and sights of London.

5th May 2020Whilst in no way attempting to emulate Captain Tom Moore it was pleasantly warm and sunny with John, who claims to be my trainer, providing encouragement and an espresso at the half-way mark.
